Restaurant Winstub Le Bartholdi in Colmar

Located in the very heart of Colmar’s historic center, in the famous Maison des Têtes, the restaurant Le Bartholdi embodies the essence of Alsace: tradition and conviviality. This authentic Winstub celebrates the Alsatian terroir through generous, homemade cuisine prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Alsatian Cuisine Reimagined with Passion

Le Bartholdi revisits the classics of Alsatian gastronomy with passion: pan-fried spätzle, baeckeofe, royal sauerkraut, roïgebrageldi, beer-braised pork knuckle, trout with Riesling, and the famous Munster cheese. Each dish pays tribute to local culinary traditions while adding a modern touch.
Among the specialties, Chef Éric Girardin’s sauerkraut and the Alsatian matelote stand out for their generosity and respect for the ingredients. Everything is enhanced by a carefully selected range of Alsace wines, perfectly matched to the dishes.

A Warm Atmosphere Throughout the Season

The setting at Le Bartholdi is typically Alsatian: carved wood, heart-shaped chairs, large family tables, and cozy nooks for more intimate meals. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming—perfect for convivial dining. In summer, the shaded terrace beneath the vines offers a peaceful haven right in the city center.

Private Event

The restaurant offers a private room upstairs, ideal for private or professional events of up to 30 people. It is also possible to privatize the entire restaurant for groups of over 80 guests. A special menu and personalized support are available for these occasions. Don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss your project—our team will be delighted to help organize it.

Opening Hours
Le Bartholdi is open from Friday to Tuesday, for lunch from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., and for dinner from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
