The Winemaker Evenings at the Maison des Têtes
La Maison des Têtes invites you to its winemaker evenings at its historic Brasserie and at the Winstub Bartholdi.
True to its deep connection to the terroir, La Maison des Têtes now celebrates Alsatian winemakers through these winemaker evenings, continuing the tradition of its history. These are genuine moments of sharing and discovery, designed around gastronomic themes that highlight the finest Alsatian grape varieties.
This commitment to promoting Alsatian wines and those who craft them is part of a long-standing tradition. An iconic site of the region’s wine culture, the Maison des Têtes served as the birthplace of the Wine Exchange in the late 19th century. Led by a committee of Alsatian winemakers, this initiative aimed to revive and develop the Haut-Rhin wine trade following the phylloxera crisis. This legacy lives on today through our evening events: at each gathering, local winemakers and producers are invited to our table to share their expertise, present their vintages, and bring the Alsatian terroirs to life, moments when wine is as much about storytelling as it is about tasting.
Each evening is a convivial experience open to all: enthusiasts and curious amateurs alike.
The menus are crafted around the wine selections curated by our sommeliers. Chef Éric Girardin crafts each dish to complement the selected wines, bringing out the best in each one and revealing their full complexity.
